The Corporate Income Tax Return is filed annually with the Gambia Revenue Authority by all companies earning income in The Gambia. Tax is assessed at the higher of 27% of net taxable profit or 1% of turnover (2% if accounts are unaudited).
Advance tax is paid quarterly by the 15th of the month following each quarter. The 2024 Finance Act introduced formal penalties for failure to file: 1% of revenue with a minimum of GMD 10,000 and maximum of GMD 250,000, plus interest on late tax payments.
