Form ITX 203.01.E is the annual corporate income tax return filed by all legal entities operating in Tanzania with the Tanzania Revenue Authority. It covers total chargeable income, allowable deductions, and tax payable at the standard rate of 30% (or 25% for listed companies).
Companies must also file a separate estimated return (ITX 202.01.E) within 3 months of the start of the accounting period, with four equal instalment payments. Late filing attracts a monthly penalty equal to the higher of TZS 300,000 or 2.5% of unpaid tax. Filing is done via the TRA Taxpayer Portal.
